Being funny for money

Being funny for money

Last month, we donned red noses, red clothes and even red nail varnish to help raise money for Comic Relief. Guinness colleagues from across the country raised a whopping £1,000 for the charity!

Teddy bears and 60s flares

From teddy bears’ picnics in Exeter, ‘guess the sweets’ games in Crewe, and raffles in Gloucester and Rochdale, everyone got involved. Our London office held a lunchtime quiz and our Oldham staff went all out with Friday fancy dress.

Cakes, bakes, games and quizzes

Our Pickmere extra care scheme in Cheshire made a real day of it and raised an amazing £316. They held a pool tournament, a residents versus staff quiz, guessing games, hoopla and lots of other fun and games. Their raffle even offered a coffee machine and spa treatments as prizes!

Of course cake was a big part of the day, and staff in Milton Keynes, Oldham and London held bakes sales full of yummy cakes and amazing bakes.

A big thank you

A big thank you to all our colleagues who baked, dressed up or down and spent their time helping to raise such a fantastic amount for a very worthwhile cause. You can take a look at our album of photos from the day on our Facebook page.
